CAMP RULES

(Please read with your parents)

Shoes and socks are to be worn at all times. Flip flops may be worn only for swimming. Bare feet are allowed only in the pool, in the shower and in bed.

Long pants must be worn on all activities in the woods.
Animals should not be caught by anyone. We are guests in the animals’ homes. We can observe our hosts, but we must allow them to live their lives as nature meant it.
Living plants and insects should be observed in their own environment. We should not collect living things as everything in nature has a purpose.
Campers must have an adult's permission before leaving the cabin at anytime. If a camper needs to use the restroom, including during the night, a staff member will escort them.
Campers must stay with their designated group at all times.
All campers in need of medical attention must be accompanied by an adult to the Nurse’s Station. This includes the administration of all medications. All medications must be kept at the Nurse’s Station in individual containers. The nurses try very hard to give daytime medications at meals so don’t send camper to nurse’s station for morning meds unless a nurse has told you to do this.
A hot, soapy shower must be taken by each camper daily. Swim suits may be worn.
Rock throwing and tree climbing are not permitted at camp. ·
Food is not permitted in the cabins.
All of the following will not be allowed at camp: tobacco, matches, pipes, alcohol, lighters, illegal drug products, radios, tape players, electronic games, pocket knives, money.
Physical assaults and verbal abuse will not be tolerated.
Hairdryers, curling irons and electric shavers are not allowed (campers only).

Discipline Policy Three Strikes and You’re Out

1. Any physical, aggressive contact with camper or adult - pushing, fighting, hitting, dunking in pool

2. Running away - from group, activities, meals, camp grounds

3. Any dangerous behavior to self or others

If a child requires one-on-one for more than two hours then the child will be sent home. Our camp program is not staffed to handle this type of service.
