Joshua Center Summer Camp Forms

We are offering camp this year to children with a primary diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome, Asperger Syndrome or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

The purpose of our online offering of camp instructions and forms is to simplify the process. Please complete the process as soon as possible. Bear in mind that each form is important.

Some forms can be completed online while others require your actual signature and therefore must be printed and mailed. If you have any questions or need help in the application process, don't hesitate to call us at (816) 763-7605. All online documents are submitted in a secure environment.

Deadline: Final deadline to receive all documents and registration deposit is June 10th. However, it is vitally important to our operations that you complete the application process as soon as possible. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Fees: The camp fee per camper is $500. Camp fees will only be refunded in case of an emergency due to illness, injury or death of a family member. Camp fees may be paid with Visa, MC or by check. Camp Dates and Check In Details: Camp dates are June 12 - 16. Due to liability concerns, all campers must be checked in at camp by parent or legal guardian Arrival between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. and departure 1:00 p.m.

Emergency Communication: In the event of illness or serious injury, the first thing we will do is give your child first aid according to the information you submitted on the Joshua Center Camp Health
Form. If our medical personnel deem it necessary to call 911 we will do that. Then we will notify
the parents concerning the situation and the location of any medical facilities where your child will
be taken. Prior to June 12th, if you have any questions or concerns, please call the Joshua Center offices at (816) 763-1802. During camp (June 12 - 16) call (816) 246-6311. ONLY CALL THIS NUMBER JUNE 12 - 16.

Registration Deposit: Parents must submit $100 non-refundable deposit with registration. The deposit applies to the total fee and must be submitted by June 10th or other arrangements must be made with the Joshua Center.

If your child attended last year, but will not be attending this year, please let us know immediately. We have a long waiting list this year and want to accommodate as many kids as possible.

Children in the metro area will be served first. Children outside the states of Kansas and Missouri will be offered the opportunity to participate if space is available. Out of town parents will be notified by May 15th if space is available.

Food Service Application

Camp Rules

Print and keep. Together, Parents and children should read these rules prior to coming to camp. Unless it’s a tic, swearing will not be allowed. This will be strictly enforced. Cabin Counselors will review the rules with campers upon arrival at camp.
