Joshua Center Funding

The Joshua Center began in 1996 through the support of parents of children with Tourette Syndrome. The Joshua Center programs and services are funded through the following:

Annual Fall Fundraiser: Sponsored by the Kansas City Businessmen’s Club, the Joshua Center is grateful to be the beneficiary of this event. Activities include a buffet, dancing, and silent and live auctions.

Circle of Friends: We invite you to join the Joshua Center Circle of Friends. Your support, at any level, will help us continue to provide the programs and services that all children with neurological disorders need to be everything they can be. Join the Joshua Center Circle of Friends and help pave the way to brighter futures for children with these neurological disorders.

Annual Bowl-A-Thon: Children and families with Tourette Syndrome and their associated disorders attend the Bowl-A-Thon the last Saturday in January. The general public is encouraged to form a team and bowl. Corporate sponsorship is available.

United Way support through Community Health Charities: Individuals are encouraged to support the Joshua Center through their United Way pledge utilizing the donor choice option.

Individual/Corporate Donations: The Joshua Center depends on individual and corporate donations to support our wonderful programs. We greatly appreciate this community support.

Grants: The Joshua Center is grateful for the wonderful support from foundations in the Kansas City community.
