KCBC Hosts 27th Annual “Pork Out”

The Kansas City Businessmen’s Club is preparing for the 27th annual “Pork Out” charity event to be held at Kansas City’s premier Airline History Museum on September 17, 2011 for the benefit of the Joshua Center. In addition to selling tickets, members of KCBC and their spouses are seeking corporate donations, silent auction items and live auction items for the event.

The Joshua Center is a local 501(c)(3) organization that provides services and support for the social, emotional, medical and educational needs of neurologically impaired children, including children with Asperger Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Tourette Syndrome, and their families. It offers a variety of programs, including clinical care, counseling, social skills training, life skills training, an accredited summer camp, and education for parents, teachers, police departments and others. The Joshua Center is the only source in the Greater Kansas City area where families trying to cope with these neurological disorders can turn to for all of these coordinated programs and support. The Greater Kansas City area is truly blessed to have the Joshua Center and we hope that your company can help support it. A substantial portion of the Joshua Center’s budget is funded by the “Pork Out” each year.

There are several ways in which you can become involved in this tradition and be recognized for your contribution to the community. Collectively, we invite you to purchase tickets, attend the event, donate auction items and sponsor a table. The members of KCBC encourage business owners and/or managers to sponsor a table and invite your staff and associates to share this incredible evening with us. If you have items and/or services to donate to the auction, items can either be sent directly to the Joshua Center or will be picked up upon request. Your involvement and support will benefit the lives of the families that the Joshua Center works with on a daily basis. We cannot do it without you. Ticket pricing and Levels of Corporate Sponsorship:

  • Gold Sponsors – $2,500 (20 tickets, priority seating, event recognition/visibility, additional signage)
     

  • Silver Sponsors - $1,000 (10 tickets, event recognition/visibility, additional signage)
     

  • Table Hosts $500 - 10 tickets and event recognition on table center pieces
     

  • Individual Tickets – $30
