Individual Home Plan Parents of children with neurological disorders are often familiar with an Individual Education Plan. An “IEP” establishes special accommodations which help the child do well in school.

Just as accommodations may be required for success at school – accommodations may be required for success at home and in the community. These accommodations become your family’s Individual Home Plan – an “IHP.” It is important that an “IHP” be thoughtfully established, agreed to by all caregivers, and consistently carried out.
