About The Joshua Center

It is estimated that 1 in 110 children are diagnosed with autism or a condition relating to it, making it the fastest growing developmental disability today. When Becky Ottinger’s son Joshua was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome she became determined to help him have as happy of a life as possible. Becky quickly realized that many people and school districts did not understand children like Joshua and how they could help them achieve success. Out of her determination she partnered with another mom named Orrilla Clough to form The Joshua Center for Neurological Disorders. Over 20 years later Becky has made it her life’s work to help children like Joshua have successful lives. The Joshua Center has helped many children with disabilities including Tourette Syndrome, PDD, OCD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome and other forms of autism. Many families affected by these disorders have exhausted their options when they find hope in the Joshua Center. We invite you to join us on September 18th and share in helping “special” children throughout the Kansas City area. We must never give up hope!

“A child with special needs
changes your life forever.”
- Becky Ottinger
